Job description

Overview
Pediatrix is seeking a per diem, experienced, Board Certified OB Hospitalist to assist with coverage at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities
  • St. Joseph's Women's Hospital is widely regarded as "the place in Tampa to have a baby" because of their comfortable labor and delivery suites, extensive childbirth education programs, Level-IV NICU and maternal/fetal program that offers the security expectant mothers need
  • Responsibilities will include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring and ER coverage
  • Over 8000 deliveries annually at the hospital, 900 delivered by the hospitalist team
  • 4,200 annual OBED visits per year
  • Team of 8 OBGYNs
  • 24 hour shifts with double physician coverage
  • Supported by a Level-III NICU with board certified neonatologists available 24 hours a day
  • Coverage begins in June 2024

Qualifications
  • Board Certification in OB/GYN with recent experience required
  • FL license required
