Labeling Line Operator / Machine Operator
A stable food manufacturing operation needs two careful, mechanically inclined labeling line operators to keep labeling equipment running safely and accurately, verify the correct label is applied to each container, and make routine adjustments that protect quality and line flow.
Location: Ripon, Wisconsin
Schedule: First shift (outside harvest); rotating day/night shifts during harvest (July–mid-November).
Role Type: Direct hire, full-time, year-round
Pay: $18–$24/hr
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the labeling machine.
Verify that the correct label is accurately applied to each container.
Supply the tray former with tray blanks.
Maintain appropriate glue levels in the labeler and tray-former glue pots.
Perform trained adjustments, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Box, label, stack, and pull labels when required.
Complete production and work records accurately.
Follow GMP, food-safety, sanitation, and plant-safety requirements.
Support related production and warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to read and write English
Basic mathematics
Basic mechanical aptitude
Reliable attendance and teamwork
Clear communication
Willingness to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and rotating harvest assignments
