Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service II team member to support election-related administrative operations for a contract position in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys structured office work, accurate record handling, and assisting the public with professionalism and care. The role combines customer support, document preparation, and data management in a fast-paced non-profit environment. This role is 100% onsite, will require some overtime and will support local elections.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare outgoing ballot materials by organizing documents, assembling mail packets, and confirming items are ready for distribution.

• Process incoming ballot shipments by opening containers, sorting contents, and arranging materials for the next handling step.

• Create and apply mailing labels, print voter address information, and ensure envelopes are properly prepared for delivery.

• Maintain organized voter documentation through accurate filing and systematic record management.

• Enter voter-related information into the designated voter file system with a high level of accuracy.

• Manage physical records such as master cards and voter identification files to support efficient document retrieval.

• Assemble and package election supplies to help ensure materials are ready for operational use.

• Respond to voter inquiries by phone or in person, providing clear and courteous assistance on routine questions.

• Experience performing administrative support duties in an office or customer service setting.
• Strong data entry skills with careful attention to accuracy and detail.
