Job description

Role overview

You’ll support daily warehouse operations by managing inventory, assisting with product packouts, receiving and storing products, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse organization, and helping ensure accurate order fulfillment.

Daily responsibilities

  • Conduct inventory counts for shipping materials, including envelopes, bubble bags, shipping labels, and printer paper.
  • Work with warehouse leadership to help maintain enough inventory for forecasted orders.
  • Receive, inspect, and store products as they arrive in the warehouse.
  • Prepare orders for shipment.
  • Assist with product packouts.
  • Prepare, pull, and cart ice packs for seasonal shipping requirements.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage trash bins and bale discarded cardboard.
  • Organize stock and keep workspaces free of hazards.
  • Support daily logistical tasks as needed.

Skills and qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail for inventory counts and order picking.
  • Basic math skills for inventory, order preparation, and shipping tasks.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems or basic inventory software preferred.
  • Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, or cardboard balers is a plus.
  • Willingness to obtain equipment certification if needed.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.

Physical and work setting

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move products up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, cardboard balers, and forklifts after training and certification.
  • Warehouse setting with possible exposure to temperature changes, noise, and other warehouse conditions.
  • Availability or flexibility for escalations may be required.
