Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Printing Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting label printing equipment while ensuring customer orders are produced accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
- Starting pay: $19.00 per hour, based on experience
- Additional $1.00 per hour increase upon successful completion of training

Primary ResponsibilitiesPress Operation
- Operate label printing equipment according to established procedures and production schedules.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.
Setup and Calibration
- Set up printing equipment using appropriate materials, including paper stock and cores.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate, consistent print quality.
Quality Assurance
- Inspect printed labels for alignment, color accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Perform routine quality checks and promptly address any issues.
Troubleshooting
- Identify and resolve machine issues, including jams, misprints, and equipment malfunctions.
- Escalate maintenance concerns when necessary and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance tasks.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area.
Production Support
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output goals and deadlines.
- Assist with staging, loading, and unloading materials as needed.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate production records, machine settings, output quantities, and quality-related data.
- Communicate concerns or discrepancies to the Supervisor.
Safety
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report hazards and contribute to a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications amp; CompetenciesTechnical Skills
- Experience operating and troubleshooting printing or manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic machine maintenance.
- Familiarity with print settings, machine adjustments, and production processes is a plus.

- Ability to quickly identify and correct printing defects or inconsistencies.

Work Environment
This position is performed primarily on the manufacturing floor and requires regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, and interaction with production equipment.
Physical Requirements
To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, employees must be able to:
- Frequently stand and walk for extended periods
- Use hands and arms to handle materials and operate equipment
- Lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Communicate effectively through speaking and hearing
- Utilize close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision as well as focus adjustment capabilities
Education amp; Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2–4 years of relevant manufacturing, printing, or production experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred
