Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Printing Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting label printing equipment while ensuring customer orders are produced accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Primary ResponsibilitiesPress Operation
  • Operate label printing equipment according to established procedures and production schedules.
  • Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.
Setup and Calibration
  • Set up printing equipment using appropriate materials, including paper stock and cores.
  • Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate, consistent print quality.
Quality Assurance
  • Inspect printed labels for alignment, color accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Perform routine quality checks and promptly address any issues.
Troubleshooting
  • Identify and resolve machine issues, including jams, misprints, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Escalate maintenance concerns when necessary and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area.
Production Support
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output goals and deadlines.
  • Assist with staging, loading, and unloading materials as needed.
Documentation
  • Maintain accurate production records, machine settings, output quantities, and quality-related data.
  • Communicate concerns or discrepancies to the Supervisor.
Safety
