Opportunity:

RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

Job Details:

โ€ข Work in a fast-paced, high acuity Cath Lab performing 24-40 cases daily
โ€ข Varying shifts of 8 or 12 hours (12:00 PM-8:30 PM or 8:00 AM-8:30 PM) or combination to meet weekly requirements
โ€ข 1:1 patient ratio working exclusively with adult patients
โ€ข Call required from Friday-Friday (7 days) every 2-3 months with 30-minute response time
โ€ข Call hours from end of shift until 6:00 AM the following morning
โ€ข Weekend rotation may be required, typically just call coverage
โ€ข 1 week orientation provided
โ€ข Scrub colors provided by facility
โ€ข Free parking available
โ€ข 3 years of experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
โ€ข Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R), Wisconsin License
โ€ข RCIS certification preferred
โ€ข Must be skilled in Cath Lab and peripheral cases including diagnostic, interventional, RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, Cardiomems, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, and Impella
โ€ข ECMO experience preferred
โ€ข Hybrid experience preferred for AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, TAVRs, and Watchman procedures
โ€ข Must be proficient in scrubbing and panning techniques
โ€ข Work with EPIC charting system, Alaris, Pyxis, and GE C-arms
โ€ข Equipment includes Volcano, St. Jude, Alphavac, Angiovac, EKOS, Anari, GE Pruka hemodynamic systems, and Maquet IABP
โ€ข No floating required
โ€ข Fatigue policy limits work to maximum 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a Level III Trauma Center with Magnet designation and serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The facility features 933 beds and maintains a Level III NICU. The cardiac services department operates 15 labs total shared between Cath Lab, EP, and Hybrid procedures, with 11 dedicated strictly to Cath Lab operations. The facility provides 24/7 cardiac services with comprehensive support including housekeeping, storeroom staff, transporters, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, and cardiology coverage around the clock.
