Responsibilities - What You Will Achieve
  • Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests in various fields such as biochemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist in specimen collection and preparation processes as needed.
  • Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, engage in training newer staff or interns, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment while complying with regulatory requirements.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health credential along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
  • Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
Essential Skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and solve problems under pressure.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail, particularly in terms of quality assurance and documentation.
