โ€ข Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) required within 6 months of hire.
โ€ข CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
โ€ข PALS and ACLS certification required and/or must be obtained and maintained within 12 months of hire.
โ€ข MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
โ€ข Completion of an accredited Cardiac Technology program, Associate, or Baccalaureate program in health science required.
โ€ข 1-3 years related work experience preferred.
โ€ข Pediatric experience required .
โ€ข Knowledge and skill in invasive procedures protocols, equipment and instrumentation specific to cardiac invasive procedures preferred.
โ€ข Interpersonal skills necessary for effective communication with physicians, nursing personnel, clinicians, other support staff, patients, and families.
โ€ข Demonstrates the skill set to work independently.
โ€ข Ability to accommodate after hour call coverage.
โ€ข Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing
