  • Minimum 2 years of experience in invasive cardiac procedures preferred
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Cardiovascular Technology program preferred
  • Current Louisiana license preferred
  • BLS certification required

What You Will Do:
Provide expert technical support in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care during invasive cardiac procedures. Operate and maintain physiological monitoring systems, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure proper documentation of clinical data.
  • Receive and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring orientation to the environment and meeting physiological and psychological needs
  • Monitor patient safety and record procedural events accurately in McKesson system
  • Respond to emergent situations, administer life support when necessary, and follow ACLS protocols
  • Operate diagnostic and interventional CDL equipment, staying current with new technologies through in-services
  • Accurately document and charge for patient diagnostics and supplies used
  • Assist physicians with sterile field setup, supply selection, and procedural execution
  • Circulate during procedures with attentiveness to patient status and physician needs
  • Maintain a clean, stocked lab and manage inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Organize and file cath lab films and technical data
  • Perform other duties as assigned
