Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of experience, a TX or compact RN license, and ACLS/BLS certification.

Details
  • Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of an acute care hospital setting
  • 13-week assignment with 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 0700-1730 with a rotating day off
  • Requires 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per month
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • May float to the ED to serve as a sitter or to med-surg floors to answer call lights during downtime
  • 40 hours per week guaranteed
Requirements
  • Active TX or Compact RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
Additional Information
  • Provide nursing care within the Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting cardiac procedures and patient monitoring
  • May be asked to float to other departments during downtime, including the ED and med-surg units
  • Candidates who were directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year are not eligible; those employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
