Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Entry-Level Laboratory Technician to join our client's team in Conroe. In this role, you will support daily laboratory operations, assist scientists with routine testing, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean, safe working environment. No prior college degree or professional laboratory experience is required. We provide comprehensive hands-on training for high school graduates with a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, a passion for science and hands-on technical work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sample Preparation & Handling: Receive, log, label, and prepare incoming fluids or material samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Routine Laboratory Testing: Assist with basic physical and chemical testing, quality control checks, and standard measurements under guided supervision.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Calibration: Clean, assemble, sanitize, and calibrate lab glassware, instruments, and testing apparatuses.
  • Data Logging & Reporting: Accurately record experimental data, test results, and batch records in digital databases and physical logs.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor lab supplies, track stock levels, and assist with restock orders to prevent operational downtime.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean workspace, strictly adhere to safety protocols (PPE, OSHA guidelines), and safely dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Qualifications & Requirements
