Job Overview:
Pay Range: $22hr - $27.20hr
Requirement/Must Have:

  • Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
  • California CPT License is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Represent the organization to patients as the primary point of contact for specimen collection.
  • Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
  • Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients.
  • Perform blood draws in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Promote a positive image to patients, employees, and the public.
