Job description

Job Summary

Clark Testing is seeking a part-time Sample Delivery Technician for our Ceredo, WV coal and coke facility. In this position, which involves manual labor and driving company provided transportation, the Sample Delivery Technician will pick up samples from our Ceredo site for delivery to our Princeton, WV site, and returns to the Ceredo site. This is a Non-exempt, hourly position.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Satisfactorily perform other duties and tasks as required by management.
  • Participate in functional team activities including safety, housekeeping, quality/process improvement, training, etc.

Qualifications & Competency Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate degree in a physical science is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and background checks.
  • Available to work any shift including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work on a team as well as independently.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with co-workers.
  • Must be committed to producing quality work.
  • Must be committed to safe work practices, including the willingness and ability to wear all job-related PPE.
  • Able to lift, carry, move, and transport objects of up to at least fifty pounds regularly.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
