Job description

US Anesthesia Partners (USAP) is seeking highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join their expanding practice at HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida. This role involves contributing to a dynamic care team of 30 anesthesiologists and 64 anesthetists, delivering over 50,000 anesthetics annually across Lee Health’s facilities. The position offers a robust cardiac case mix with a 75–80% focus on cardiac cases, complemented by general, vascular, endoscopy, cath lab, and OB cases.

Practice Info

  • Part of a dynamic care team of 30 anesthesiologists and 64 anesthetists
  • Delivering over 50,000 anesthetics annually across Lee Health’s facilities in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, including three hospitals and two outpatient surgery centers
  • Cardiac case mix features structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClips, TMVR, septal repairs, etc.), CABGs, open and minimally invasive valve repairs/replacements, aorta replacements, future robotic mitral program, VATS, thoracotomies, thoracic AAA, Impella implants, ECMO, and a growing heart failure program
  • About 1500 cardiac and thoracic cases performed in 2024
  • Cardiac anesthesia is performed with medical direction, low staffing ratios, 1:1 or 1:2
  • 75–80% focus on cardiac cases, complemented by general, vascular, endoscopy, cath lab, and OB cases

  • All USAP Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency program
