Job description

SUMMARY:

This position will assist the Nursing Lab Coordinator/ Clinical Coordinator in organizing, stocking, and taking inventory of supplies in the Clinical Skills Lab. These responsibilities are performed in an ethical manner consistent with the University's mission, vision, and values which include diversity, equity and inclusion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for assisting clinical lab coordinator as directed.
  2. Assist 1st and 2nd year nursing students in open skills lab with basic nursing skills.
  3. Assist with lab setup and cleanup for all open labs as assigned.
  4. Clean and maintain simulation equipment as assigned.
  5. Manage the check-in spreadsheet.
  6. Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating files and record keeping systems.
  7. Generate reports, memorandums, correspondence, presentation materials, spreadsheets and graphics, and other materials using various software programs.
  8. Assist with special events and functions as needed.
  9. May be responsible for greeting visitors, as well as answering and routing incoming calls.
  10. Handle documents and maintain appropriate confidentiality.
  11. Provide GREAT customer service, anticipating and exceeding the needs of our customers.
  12. Demonstrate and promote the University Cultural Values.
  13. Understand and abide by all external and internal regulations and policies. This includes NCAA, GLIAC and national affiliations associated within athletics or other role specific regulations.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
