Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital – Plano is seeking an experienced echocardiographer to serve as Echo Lab Director. This is an employed career opportunity with a generous benefits package that offers work-life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.

Opportunity Highlights:

·         Lead advanced structural and interventional echocardiography program at a top cardiovascular center

·         Provide strategic leadership for Echo Lab, collaborating with sonographers, physicians, and staff

·         Partner with System Imaging, structural heart, and surgical leadership to drive growth initiatives

·         Ensure high-quality imaging to support structural heart interventions (TAVR, TMVR, TEER, TTVR, LAA closure, PVL closure)

·         Oversee education for fellows, sonographers, and multidisciplinary teams

·         Engage in clinical research and device trials

·         Maintain operational efficiency, quality assurance, and accreditation compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography
  • Level III training in echocardiography
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in echocardiography with structural/interventional echo expertise with preferred experience as an echo lab director
  • Proven leadership skills in clinical operations, education, and quality improvement
  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
