The Processor Specialist is responsible for processing clinical specimens received in the laboratory. Under limited supervision and according to approved procedures, preforms a variety of laboratory support procedures including specimen collection, order entry, processing, all while maintaining patient confidentiality. Processor accepts assignments to various work locations within the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic geographic locations and schedules as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • No experience is required
  • Demonstrate a teamwork mindset, initiative and open to new learning experiences 
  • Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions and provide outstanding customer service 
  • Proven self-directed 
  • Proven excellent time management skills- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks 
  • Proven positive, can do attitude coupled with a sense of urgency


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
  • Lab data entry experience


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
