Medical Lab Technician

As a Medical Lab Technician at our Health Care Services facility located in Bibb Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of medical test results. You will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, analyzing and interpreting results, and maintaining accurate records of all tests performed. Your work will directly impact patient care and treatment decisions, making attention to detail and precision essential in this role. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Technologist
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by a recognized accrediting agency
  • Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
