ASCP Medical Lab Technician - FT
MLR is partnering with a distinguished healthcare system to recruit a full-time Clinical Lab Scientist/Medical Technologist for the night shift. This role provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality laboratory services to both inpatient and outpatient clients. Eligible candidates will receive a $7,500 sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Laboratory Testing: Conduct a wide range of tests, from routine to complex, including emergency, therapeutic, and diagnostic assessments for patients of all ages-neonates, children, adults, and seniors.
  • Equipment Management: Calibrate, standardize, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments while troubleshooting any issues and ensuring quality control measures are met.
  • Accurate Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation related to lab procedures is completed accurately.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow infection control and safety protocols according to established guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the laboratory supply inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling of materials.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly communicate test results, methodologies, and interpretations to relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Charge Tech Duties: Act as "Charge Tech" as needed, supervising laboratory operations during specific shifts.
ASCP Medical Lab Technician - FT Qualifications:
