Job description

Holyoke Medical Center is a proud 219-bed community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the pioneer valley for over 125 years. We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient-centered care.
Our laboratory team is looking for an ASCP registered, or registry eligible, Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician for our Blood Bank who believes in our Lab's Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time. Duties include specimen testing, releasing blood products, specimen processing and clerical duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
MT/MLS - Bachelors' degree in science, AND certification through ASCP/AMT OR eligibility for MLS ASCP licensing exam.
For the MLT/CLS Associates' degree from the MLT program, AND certification through ASCP/AMT OR eligibility for the MLT/CLS ASCP licensing exam.
** Applicant must have experience as a Blood Bank Tech, or have theory and knowledge of Blood Bank from an accredited Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist program.**
Applicants must have:
