Job description

Overview

Assist physician and ensure maximum efficiency; this includes taking vitals, rooming patients, etc. if needed. Set up for procedures and examinations; obtain lab test and other reports for physician review. Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow; revise daily schedule ensuring all pertinent records are available for physician review. This position will focus on assisting sleep Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Providers.

Responsibilities: 

  • Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc.
  • Assist APRN or PA as needed
  • Monitor sample medications to ensure not expired. Dispose of outdated samples appropriately
  • Assist physician and ensure maximum efficiency; this includes taking vitals, rooming patients, etc. if needed. Set up for procedures and examinations; obtain lab test and other reports for physician review

Qualifications:

  • Graduate certificate from accredited Registered Nurse RN program
  • 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
  • RN degree and State RN license. Current CPR License
