**About the Position

**

This is a hands-on laboratory role supporting the development of next-generation clean energy technology in a fast-paced R&D environment. As a Lab Technician, you'll work alongside engineers and scientists to fabricate, assemble, test, and validate advanced fuel cell components and systems while helping move innovative products from development toward commercialization.

The ideal person enjoys working with their hands, learning new technical processes, and contributing across multiple areas of the lab. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to advanced manufacturing, materials processing, testing, and product development while working on technology that has the potential to transform the energy industry.

**Responsibilities

**

  • Perform hands-on laboratory work supporting fabrication, assembly, and processing of advanced fuel cell components

  • Assist with material preparation, assembly, firing, processing, and post-processing activities

  • Support laboratory testing, system integration, validation, and long-duration test programs

  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, furnaces, test stands, tooling, and other process equipment

  • Follow documented work instructions, quality procedures, and process controls while identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Prepare materials, components, and assemblies for downstream testing and production activities

  • Record experimental data, observations, and process documentation accurately and completely

  • Communicate project status, issues, and handoffs clearly with engineers and team members
