Job Location:ย Kodiak HQ: Park City, Utahย 

Schedule:ย Wednesday and Thursdayย In-Office:ย 8:30am -ย 5:30pmย /ย lunch breakย 12:00pm -ย 1:00pmย 


Individual base salary for this roleย ultimately willย depend onย numerousย factors, including but not limited to experience, job-related skills, relevant education or training, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate could fall anywhere within the stated range.ย

We are seekingย TWOย Temporaryย Researchย &ย Developmentย Lab Assistantsย toย provide part-time support to Kodiakโ€™sย R&Dย team through hands-on lab work, formula scale-up, product preparation, cleaning, organization, and general lab operations. This role supports the execution of R&D projects by helping prepare, pack out, and clean upย productย whileย maintainingย a safe, organized, and efficient lab environment.ย 


What will this position do?ย 

  • Support day-to-day R&D lab activities, including preparing ingredients, materials, and equipment for product testing and formula work.ย 
  • Assistย withย scaling-upย formulas according to direction from the R&D team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.ย 
  • Help prepare, pack out, label, organize, and store product samples for testing, evaluation, or cross-functional use.ย 
  • Wash dishes, utensils, equipment, and lab tools, and helpย maintainย a clean, safe, and organized lab environment.ย 
  • Support zero waste efforts by helping sort, organize, and dispose of materials according to lab and company procedures.ย 
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and lab procedures when handling ingredients, products, tools, and equipment.ย 
  • Assistย with ingredient organization, inventory support, and general lab housekeeping as needed.ย 
  • Perform other temporary lab support duties as assigned.ย
