Job description

Job Objective/Summary: The Clinic Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting physicians in the examination and treatment of patients. This includes obtaining patient histories, performing basic clinical procedures, and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. The Clinic Medical Assistant will perform patient intake including collection of vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, height, and weight. Draw and collect blood samples as needed; prepare and label specimens for lab analysis. 

Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience:  A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire. Medical Assistant experience preferred.
