Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: Provides a supportive link between UCI customers both internal and external, facilitates communications by effectively navigating computer and phone systems, builds and maintains customer relationships while providing a positive, professional and empathetic understanding to all customers. Main duties include phone calls, computer data entry, and printing/delivering lab reports. Reviews lab requisitions and performs quality review and troubleshooting.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications: One year of applicable clinical lab work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Demonstrated experience using a computer, including data entry and retrieval Ability to work weekends, and rotating shifts including evenings, nights and holidays Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service Experience with lab/hospital computer systems and software
