Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and motivated CNA Instructor to teach and supervise students enrolled in our state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program. The instructor delivers classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction, prepares students to pass the state competency exam, and ensures the program meets all federal and state regulatory standards.


Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered Virginia RN or LPN license (or compact multistate privilege)
  • Minimum 1 year of direct client care experience as a nurse (long-term care preferred)
  • Ability to demonstrate competence to teach adults (instructor training may be completed after hire)
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Prior teaching, precepting, or clinical instruction experience preferred
