The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles' third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. This presents the unique and exciting opportunity to celebrate our legacy with the Games and push the Olympic and Paralympic Movements forward, writing a new chapter of Games history in Los Angeles.ย ย

Srย Associate,ย Seating Bowl Analyst:

The Ticketingย departmentย is responsible forย developingย a robustย Ticketย Sales,ย Marketing,ย andย Ticketย Operationsย strategy forย the Olympicย and Paralympicย Games.ย This encompassesย maximizing revenue throughย sold-out and fully attended events,ย while ensuringย accessible pricing and broad access to the General Public.ย 

Reporting to theย Sr Manager, Ticketing Strategy & Implementationย for LA28, theย Srย Associate,ย Seating Bowl Analyst will act as the internal ticketingย point of contact for a subset of venuesย forย the Seating Bowl Working Groupย (SBWG), aย cross-functionalย group that focuses onย maximizingย revenue and attendance for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This role willย be responsible forย the management of ourย contractual ticket allotments,ย holds, accredited seatingย areas, and allocation of inventory for sales phases.ย ย In addition, this role willย serve asย aย project manager forย theย SBWG, setting meetings, managing agendas, and creating andย maintainingย project plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Seating Bowl Strategy & Designย 

  • Manage, update,ย and review space allocation for ticketed and accredited zonesย 
  • Develop seat maps based on venue and ticketing informationย 
  • Understand and keep ticketing team updated on all operational seat killsย 
  • Work withย key internal and external stakeholders forย broadcastย andย press accredited seating and areasย 
  • Plan and review ticketed and accredited numbers based on past Gamesย 
  • Review spectatorย flowsย fromย ticket scanningย toย enteringย seating bowlย 
  • Recommend opportunities to maximize revenue, and illustrateย optimalย scenarios for LA28 ticketing strategiesย 

ย Projectย Managementย 

  • Set agendas forย seating bowlย meetingsย 
  • Maintain master schedule and timeline forย seating bowlย projects and sub-workstreams, and understand integration with other FA timelines and needed deliverablesย 
  • Help manage cross-functional relationshipsย with both internal and external stakeholdersย 

ย Cross-Functional Collaborationย ย 

  • Establish close working relationships with key functional areas (especially Venues & Infrastructure, Event Venue Management,ย and Sport) to ensure the ticketing strategy maximizes revenue opportunities while supporting the overall Games strategyย 

Otherย 

  • Help develop innovative venue design proposalsย 
  • Ensure strong ticketing contingency planning based onย identifiedย risksย 
  • Provide input into Venue Design Book processย 
  • Assistย in building seat maps for the ticketing systemย 
Background & Requirements:
  • Minimumย 4+ย years of relevant industry experienceย includingย working with manifest development, inventory management, and ticketing operationsย 
  • Fluent working with Office suite products including Microsoft Excel and PowerPointย 
  • Ability to derive insights from data / analytics / research and present findings to all levels of an organizationย ย 
  • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skillsย ย 
  • Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skillsย 
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issuesย 
  • Familiarity with tools such asย Formaย (ACC), Adobe Illustrator, and Tableau preferredย 
  • Bachelor's Degree Requiredย 

The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000-98,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
