Our Maintenance Engineer will support efficient operation, retrofit and commissioning of a material handling distribution system. Work with a team of engineers and technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot the customer's distribution process. Diagnose mechanical system operations and execute emergency and scheduled services.
This position is based in (Media, PA).
Make an impact
โ€ข Support, maintain, repair, and upgrade installed system customer base
โ€ข Identify System faults and make necessary corrections to minimize system downtime.
โ€ข Maintain competence in our industry and in Swisslog products and services.
โ€ข Identify System Enhancement Opportunities
โ€ข Analyse fault data over time to recognize trends
โ€ข Troubleshoot repetitive system faults to find root cause
โ€ข Troubleshoot systems down to component level.
โ€ข Conduct Training, Installation Supervision, Maintenance / Safety Audits and System Repairs
What you need to succeed
โ€ข 1-2 years experience in a technical service environment inclusive of strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
โ€ข Highly dependable and reliable
โ€ข Computer literate in all MS Office products, SAP experience a benefit
โ€ข Must be highly articulate, proactive and self-motivated; excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated presentation skills
โ€ข Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
โ€ข Ability to multi-task and work independently
โ€ข Address problems and provide proactive solutions that enhance customers' operational efficiencies.
โ€ข High level of motivation and sound work ethic
โ€ข Excellent verbal/written communications skills are required.
โ€ข Proven track record in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with the ability to be flexible and adapt well to change.
Desirable:
โ€ข 1-3 years as part of a Service team preferred
โ€ข Understanding of warehouse management software products
โ€ข Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC programming
โ€ข Experience with warehouse or factory automation sub-system operations and maintenance
โ€ข Salesforce CRM4Service experience
โ€ข AS in mechanical or electrical engineering
