Lead the Power Behind the Plant
Kruger Products is looking for a highly skilled, growth-minded leader to take ownership of our Utilities operation and help shape the future of our Memphis mill. This is an opportunity for a visionary leader who thrives on accountability, innovation, and building high-performing teams.
As Utilities Superintendent, you will lead critical site utilities including boilers, compressed air systems, water treatment, fire protection systems, and related infrastructure. You will drive operational excellence, champion safety and compliance, develop your team, and deliver continuous improvement that creates lasting value for the business.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop a team of Boiler Operators, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Own the performance, reliability, and compliance of utility systems including boilers, compressors, air dryers, water treatment, and fire protection systems.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies for equipment, people, processes, and capital improvements.
  • Drive improvements in safety, environmental compliance, quality, reliability, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with utility providers and oversee site utility services.
  • Partner closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ensure all regulatory, environmental, and loss prevention requirements are met.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler operations, codes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, developing talent, and driving operational results.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
