What awaits you:

  • Lead and manage employees including training, development, coaching and guidance

  • Coordination of shipping & receiving aligning multiple logistics parties in scheduling, and emphasizing time effectiveness

  • Create standardized work for team

  • Detect, fix and or escalate abnormalities

  • Organizing continiuous improvement activities in the area

  • Complete EHS, 5S, LPA 2 audits and monitor daily completion of LPA 1 audits

  • Interface between Production, Logistics and Planning as well as other departments and customers

  • Collect, report and monitor KPI's

  • Monitor rack supplies as needed according to planning

  • Support trial runs and needed warehouse space

  • Ensure best practices are implemented and maintained

  • Ensure that mobile equipment is utilized appropriately and maintained to the optimal level

  • Monitor loading of trucks to ensure correct loading and time frames

  • Support accurate inventory accuracy as needed with physical counts, cycle counts, etc.

What you'll need to succeed:

Position will be on 2nd or 3rd shift - please note preference in submission

  • Degree in relatable field such as Logistics, Warehousing, Business, Engineering, etc.
  • 3 years experience in logistics, warehousing, shipping & receiving, purchasing, or combination of all
  • SAP familiarity and experience in utilization
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, Kronos timekeeping software experience
  • Previous supervision experience leading and managing hourly workforce
