Make a Difference
The Supervisor Practice Operations supports the non-clinical employees in daily practice operations, with primary responsibility for front office oversight. This role ensures efficient workflows, appropriate staffing, strong customer service, and positive patient experience. Responsibilities include supporting daily front office operations, managing workflows and staffing coverage, coordinating schedules and call-ins, and maintaining Kronos timekeeping and approvals. The supervisor oversees work queues, reporting, and operational processes, assists patients with billing inquiries and payment processes, and partners with leadership on staffing, engagement, and performance. This role also provides coaching and feedback, supports staff development, contributes to hiring and performance reviews, and fosters a positive, inclusive, high-performing team environment.
This position supports the Family Medicine Care practices in Anderson (Scatterfield), Alexandria, and Elwood and requires travel to each location weekly.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree with 4 years of relevant healthcare experience (preferred), or
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent healthcare experience (preferred), or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years in a healthcare environment (front office/customer service required)
  • 2+ years of supervisory or lead front office experience
  • Billing experience preferred
  • Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and make day-to-day operational decisions
