The Human Resources Manager serves as the arm of the Business Partner for this facility, managing all local HR activities in support of exempt and non-exempt employees. In addition, this position develops, implements and executes human resources/business strategies and programs and provides counseling and guidance in support of key business initiatives and day-to-day operational concerns. Establishes work priorities to maximize efficiency & effectiveness of the HR department.
How you create impact
Build strong floor presence by spending time with employees, monitoring workplace dynamics, conducting employee relations counseling, and leading investigations/resolution of employee concerns.
Partner with management to review and improve HR policies, procedures, and practices while providing guidance on employee-related matters.
Serve as a strategic HR advisor, delivering leadership and consulting support to help achieve operational and business objectives.
Lead workforce planning efforts by identifying staffing needs, developing hiring strategies, managing temporary labor vendors, and ensuring the right talent is in place.
Track and analyze key workforce metrics-including staffing levels, turnover, absenteeism, recruiting, compensation, and promotions-using Kronos/UKG data and reporting tools.
Oversee payroll and benefits administration while supporting employee development through supervisory skills training, compliance training, and one-on-one mentoring for supervisors.
What we would like you to bring
Bachelor's degree in business discipline, logistics, human resources or equivalent experience
5+ years progressively responsible experience in HR
HR Certification preferred
Thorough knowledge of current employment laws regarding recruiting, workers compensation, affirmative action/equal employment opportunity, wage and hour regulation, benefits
5 years team facilitation and development, and grievance handling
Experience working in a fiduciary capacity with responsibility for maintaining the confidential nature of relationships with managers and employees
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications

Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
