Job description

Position Overview

Seeking a Project Engineer to support the development, testing, and qualification of electro-mechanical actuation systems used in defense and more electric aircraft applications. This role combines engineering execution with project coordination responsibilities and is well suited for candidates with approximately 3+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or electronics development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support project execution, schedules, milestones, and technical deliverables.
  • Coordinate development activities across engineering teams.
  • Perform technical problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Analyze test results and support validation and verification activities.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with risk management, metrics reporting, and project tracking.
  • Support design validation through build and test activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 3 + years of engineering experience.
  • Experience with product development, testing, or qualification activities.
  • Mechanical design and/or electronics/circuit card design experience.
  • Root cause and corrective action experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project, integrated master schedules (IMS), or project coordination activities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  • Aerospace, defense, electromechanical systems, EVMS, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
