What is a kosher restaurant?

A kosher restaurant is an establishment that prepares and serves food according to Jewish dietary laws, known as kashrut. These laws dictate which foods are permissible, how they are prepared, and how they are served, including the separation of meat and dairy products. Kosher restaurants are usually supervised by a rabbinic authority to ensure compliance with these rules. Diners seeking to observe kosher dietary restrictions can eat at these restaurants with confidence that the food meets their religious requirements.
