SummaryThe Operations Manager is responsible for managing field operations, supervising crews, and ensuring the successful execution of assigned projects. This role serves as an onsite point of contact for customers, supervisors, and internal teams while driving productivity, safety, quality, schedule adherence, and profitability across multiple job sites. What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage 5–25 field employees across multiple commercial job sites
  • Oversee projects ranging from $5,000 to $1.5 million
  • Mobilize and demobilize jobs efficiently and safely
  • Plan, monitor, and adjust project schedules, manpower, and productivity
  • Set direction and daily expectations for installers and technicians
  • Communicate project status, forecasts, and risks to the Project Manager
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards
  • Perform quality control audits to ensure proper installation and compliance
  • Procure materials and equipment within approved guidelines
  • Train technicians on proper installation methods and quality expectations
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate field staff to drive accountability and performance
  • Complete project documentation including daily reports, safety paperwork, and weekly summaries
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations leadership on scope, specifications, and execution strategies
  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and implement cost‑effective, client‑focused solutions

What We’re Looking For
  • 6+ years of experience leading crews on commercial construction job sites
  • Experience managing up to 25 field employees across multiple projects
  • Background in trades such as drywall, plumbing, insulation, masonry, waterproofing, joint sealant, or firestopping
  • Proven experience on large‑scale projects (healthcare, high‑rise, data centers, education, hospitality, retail)
  • Working knowledge of NFPA codes and standards applicable to assigned projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
  • Ability to drive productivity, schedules, and budgets simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new internal software systems

Physical Requirements

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching
  • Ability to climb ladders and work above ceiling spaces
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and containment units
  • Ability to safely lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions

Additional Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to meet company driving and insurance eligibility requirements
  • Valid driver's license required. Ability to obtain and maintain identification necessary for work-related travel is required

  • Ability to work occasional overtime, nights, weekends, or modified schedules as business needs require

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure: The compensation range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 per year. This range represents REMEDI8's good-faith estimate of the compensation expected to be offered to a successful candidate at the time of hire. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, and business needs.

In addition to base pay, eligible employees may have access to company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement savings plans with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, and other programs offered in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
