Description

The Operations Manager/Delivery Lead role is a key role within TEKsystems Global Service’s (TGS) organization and functions in the execution of day-to-day activities in support of multiple customer engagements. A successful Operations Manager/Delivery Lead possesses strong collaboration and partnership skills for supporting processes and technologies that assist in driving successful outcomes. They are proactive and follow leadership guidance. This role may require travel on a limited basis.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans & Aligns: Understands customer expectations and technical requirements for the work to be delivered.

• Customer Focus: Manages customer requirements to ensure contract compliance and satisfaction.

• Delivery Focus: Supports onboarding of new hires in the client system, supports virtual and on-site orientation of new hires

• Consultant Care: Builds strong relationships with consultants with consistent onsite presence, ensuring they feel supported and valued. Helps resolve HR and payment related issues for consultants.

• Ensures Accountability: Participates in regular checkpoints with customers, consultant teams, engagement teams, and solutions teams. Works independently with general supervision of project Engagement Manager.

• Documentation: Documents and communicates processes and procedures to all stakeholders. Supports knowledge management and change control processes.

• Manages Ambiguity: Collaborates with team members to manage risk, engagement scope, and deliver according to contract terms. Works with onsite teams to understand team dynamics and how to best structure shifts & teams to successfully support technology-specific processes.

• Risk/Issue Resolution: Manages issues and facilitates resolution, notifying all affected parties.
