Job description

MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Knowledge Managers to join our team in Oahu Hawaii, Herndon Virginia and Dallas Texas.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as the principal executive authority for the enterprise Knowledge Management (KM) strategy, authoring the overarching governance frameworks required for USSOCOM and TSOC compliance with Joint policies.
  • They define the strategic roadmap for the multi-system convergence of LOGCOP, MEDCOP, GCCS, and ULM into a unified, interoperable theater COP.
  • Drive the enterprise vision for AI/ML integration in predictive logistics and architect the high-level resilience strategy for knowledge continuity in D-DIL environments.
  • Orchestrates the synchronization of knowledge sharing and information flow across the Pacific theater, translating theater-level campaign strategies into actionable enterprise KM outcomes and authorizing crisis Information Management Plans.
  • Serve as the Principal Advisor to Command leadership for optimizing regional situational awareness and ensuring the persistent flow of critical data to global Mission Partners.
  • Approves the allocation of resources for KM systems, serves as the final authority for the integration of intellectual capital, and provides executive leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

Junior Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to follow established KM SOPs and maintain accurate technical records.

Lead Level

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Science, Data Management, or a related field and 12+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Experience in formal policy approval and acting as the final Executive Authority for enterprise-level KM systems.
  • Experience authoring enterprise-level KM strategies, Data Governance Frameworks, and theater-wide information-sharing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, advise executive Command leadership, and architect long-term capabilities integration (such as predictive logistics or AI/ML frameworks).

Midlevel

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management, Library Science, or a related field and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Foundational certification in Knowledge Management or Information Management.

Senior Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management, Library Science, or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
  • Professional-level certification in Knowledge Management.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Master’s degree in Business, Management, Information Science, Data Management, or a related field.
      • Professional certifications: Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), CISSP, or DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
      • DAWIA Level III in Program Management (or commercial equivalent).
      • Experience directly supporting USSOCOM, USPACOM, or TSOC operational information management and crisis planning environments.
      • Experience designing knowledge continuity frameworks for D-DIL operational environments.

      Clearance Required:

      • Must hold an active Secret Clearance

      Physical Requirements:

      • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
      • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
