About Us

We are a locally owned and operated security guard company based in New Orleans, providing professional security services for film productions, commercial properties, special events, and private clients throughout Louisiana. Our reputation is built on reliability, flexibility, and hands-on service.

We are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations, manage personnel and scheduling, and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all assignments.


Position Overview

The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall operational performance of the company. This role requires a strong leader who can manage field operations, coordinate staffing and scheduling, maintain client relationships, and ensure compliance with company standards and state regulations. This is a hands-on role suited for someone comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 security environment.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Field Management

• Oversee daily security operations across all active sites and assignments

• Ensure proper staffing, coverage, and post fulfillment for all contracts

• Conduct site visits and field inspections to maintain service quality

• Respond to urgent operational issues, call-outs, and coverage gaps

Personnel Management

• Supervise operations staff, supervisors, and field personnel

• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and disciplinary actions

• Ensure guards meet licensing, certification, and company requirements

• Enforce company policies, post orders, and professional standards

Scheduling & Logistics

• Oversee guard scheduling, shift assignments, and timekeeping

• Coordinate coverage for long-term details, 24-hour posts, and special projects

• Manage last-minute changes common to film, event, and production security

Client Relations

• Serve as a primary point of contact for select clients

• Maintain strong relationships with location managers, production teams, and property managers

• Address client concerns promptly and professionally

• Assist with walk-throughs, advance planning, and operational adjustments

Compliance & Administration

• Ensure compliance with Louisiana state regulations and licensing requirements

• Review incident reports, daily activity reports, and operational documentation

• Support billing accuracy by verifying schedules, hours, and post details

• Assist ownership with operational planning and process improvement


Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, military, or related field

• Prior supervisory or management experience

• Strong scheduling, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays


Preferred

• Experience with film, production, or event security

• Knowledge of Louisiana security licensing requirements

• Experience managing 24/7 or multi-site operations

• Strong written communication skills for reports and client correspondence
