Job description:

NOLA Detox is a private addiction and mental health treatment center offering premium, patient-centered care in New Orleans - and we're expanding soon to a brand-new facility in Slidell. We're not a one-size-fits-all program. Patients come to us from across the region because we combine top-tier clinical care, a supportive environment, and a setting that truly feels safe and human.

We are currently hiring therapists to join our growing team. Whether you're fully licensed or working under supervision, this is an opportunity to do meaningful clinical work in a professional, compassionate, and collaborative setting.

Why Work at NOLA Detox?

  • We're a private program, which means lower caseloads, more flexibility, and a real focus on quality care.
  • We have an exclusive medical partnership with Tulane University School of Medicine, bringing unmatched academic support and innovation to our program.
  • Our Clinical Director, Erin McBurney, LCSW, provides strong leadership, clinical supervision, and mentorship for new and experienced therapists alike.
  • You'll work alongside an integrated team of nurses, case managers, and behavioral health techs, so you can focus on therapy.
  • With our Slidell expansion, there are opportunities for growth, leadership, and shaping new programs.
  • We offer excellent health benefits, generous paid time off, and a team culture that values people over productivity.

What You'll Do

  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning
  • Complete documentation and participate in weekly team meetings
  • Support discharge planning and, when needed, family systems work
  • Be part of a team that shares responsibility, supports each other, and works with purpose

What We're Looking For

  • Licensed or provisionally licensed therapists (LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMSW, LAC, CAC)
  • Experience with or strong interest in addiction and co-occurring disorders
  • Strong ethics, compassion, and a desire to grow professionally
  • Available for full-time or part-time weekend shifts

Compensation

  • Full-time salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience and licensure
  • Part-time/weekend pay: Competitive and based on licensure
  • Full-time roles include health, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as paid time off

Locations:

  • New Orleans (Algiers) - Established flagship facility
  • Slidell - Brand-new facility opening soon

We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, including those with lived experience or nontraditional paths. If you're looking for a place where clinical care matters, your team has your back, and your growth is part of the plan - we'd love to hear from you.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance
