Job description

Reporting to the Operations Manager at our Fort Madison facility, you will oversee third shift production activities supporting the Armour, Nalley, Van Camps, and Ranch Beans brands. You will lead training and development efforts to build a high‑performing operations team while driving strategic objectives across safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Monitor production operations to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are consistently met
• Lead employee training and coaching to ensure team members understand and effectively perform job responsibilities
• Support sanitation activities to maintain a clean, food‑safe manufacturing environment
• Enforce plant rules, policies, procedures, and operating standards
• Evaluate team performance, communicate expectations, and provide feedback to support continuous improvement
• Support plant and company safety programs, promoting strong awareness and adherence to defined safety requirements, including lockout and tagout, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Experience supervising or leading teams in a manufacturing environment

• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and safety standards

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and loss prevention principles
• Exposure to maintenance or mechanical manufacturing environments
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with two or more years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Willingness to work weekends and shift schedules with a strong work ethic and consistent employment history

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
