Status: Position Filled - Accepting Applications for Ready Replacement Pool (RRP) consideration.


Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused SharePoint / Knowledge Management Analyst to support Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) Information Warfare (IW) Type Commander (TYCOM). This role focuses on developing, customizing, and managing SharePoint-based collaboration tools to improve how Navy teams organize, share, and access information.ย 


The ideal candidate can apply Information Management (IM) and Knowledge Management (KM) best practices to enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and support mission readiness across multiple IW domains.ย This role plays a key part in improving information flow, collaboration, and operational efficiency across Navy Information Warfare teams.ย 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2019 sites, libraries, and workflows
  • Customize SharePoint functionality using JavaScript or similar scripting tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate mission needs into SharePoint-based solutions
  • Support IM and KM initiatives to improve the capture, communication, and promotion of readiness/requirements projects, products, business processes, and services for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Assess current information management and collaboration tool usage against best practice benchmarks, including the IM Body of Knowledge (IMBOK) and ARMA Records and Information Management (RIM): Fundamentals of Professional Practice
  • Provide expertise in IM/KM processes and tools to support the effective sharing of content and knowledge both within the IW enterprise and across division and directorate functions
  • Develop and implement knowledge and information management strategies, methodologies, and solutions using government-approved domains in accordance with DoD and DoN standards and regulations
  • Support the development, management, and maintenance of Naval enterprise collaborative environments through the use of platforms such as Flankspeed Office 365, Intellink, and other Naval/DoD collaboration environments

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with SharePoint 2019 and/or SharePoint Online, including customization, administration, configuration, and maintenance

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience using JavaScript or other scripting/programming languages to develop dynamic content and functionality within a SharePoint environment

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing technical writing, documentation, and user training for SharePoint-based solutions

  • Working knowledge of Naval enterprise collaboration and information systems, including the DoD Flank Speed Office 365 platform, Intellink, and other Navy and DoD collaboration environments

  • Understanding of federal government and DoD information assurance (IA) and cybersecurity controls, including applicable policies and compliance requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective technical solutions

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users and stakeholdersย 

Desired:

  • Sec+ and/or KM Certification
  • Familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the Navy rank and grade structure
  • Knowledge of Navy terminology and Information Warfare operational concepts

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Management, Knowledge Management, Computer Science, or similar)

Clearance:

  • Must possess and maintain a Top Secret / SCI Clearance
