Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance


Work Schedule:

  • Standard Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Extended Hours & Weekends: Schedule may be adjusted to support extended training periods, weekends, and practical exercises


Role Overview

The KMS leads the design, development, and maintenance of comprehensive knowledge management solutions for the JID-TC. This role bridges technical IT administration with curriculum management, ensuring that all organizational know-how, courseware, and student data are securely stored, easily accessible, and effectively integrated into course delivery. The KMS will support continuous learning across the enterprise while strictly adhering to DoD security and compliance standards.


General Skillset

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple emerging-mission efforts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic curriculum-development tools
  • Ability to collaborate with military, Government, contractor, acquisition, and technical organizations

  • Proven ability in user training, change management, and driving adoption of new collaborative environments
  • Strong SharePoint Administration skills
  • Microsoft Teams governance proficiency

Requirements:

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Education, Instructional Systems Design, or a related field is required (Master's preferred)
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Microsoft Enterprise Administrator Expert certification (MS-102) (SharePoint Administrator Associate acceptable)
  • Microsoft Enterprise Teams Administrator certification (MS-700)

Experience Requirements

  • 5 years progressive experience in IT administration
  • 3+ years managing Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint Online site provisioning, Teams deployment, CUI-compliant configurations, and user onboarding
  • Experience working within DoD IT systems and understanding military security concepts is highly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview
