Job Description

Turner & Townsendย seeksย an experiencedย Constructionย Project Managerย toย support large-scale construction projects. The ideal project manager will be driven toย provide our clients with excellent service.ย ย ย ย ย 

Responsibilities:ย ย 

  • Manageย stakeholdersย including architects,ย engineers,ย and supplyย chainsย to deliver compliantย projects.ย 
  • Canย analyze,ย track,ย and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid scheduleย slips.ย 
  • Verify that effective project governance,ย processes,ย and systems areย utilized.ย 
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects.ย 
  • Production of formal project status reports and other reports asย requiredย 
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards areย appliedย correctly.ย 
  • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviewsย 
  • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.ย 
  • Forecast and update key project milestonesย and budget.ย 
  • Manage andย monitorย local design teamsย in accordance withย commission criteriaย 
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, generalย contractorsย and regional stakeholdersย 
  • Rapid response to RFIs from the fieldย 
  • Provideย expertiseย for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance whereย requiredย 
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals,ย timelines,ย and costs from architects,ย contractorsย and suppliers.ย 
  • Client management -ย assistย in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.ย 
  • Strategic Thinking -ย providesย advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients'ย objectivesย and businessย objectives.ย 
  • Knowledge management - ensure that key information and learnings generated from each projectย areย captured.ย 
  • Process improvement - Identify ways to improve internal systems and processesย 
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.ย 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management,ย architecture,ย engineeringย or field related to construction.ย 
  • Strong organizational and management skills - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader teamย 
  • Effective presentation skillsย 
  • Proficiencyย in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management toolsย 
  • Strong communicationย skills.ย 
Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role isย $150K-$180Kย per year.ย Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.ย Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
