Job description

The Prospective Group (TPG) is looking for a KMP Specialist. The Contractor shall support the mission to process facilities for facility clearances by supporting Government Staff and other contract staff with all duties assigned in the initiation, tracking and management of facility clearance requests and Personnel Security Clearance (PCL) for Key Management Personnel (KMP). The KMP Specialist shall meet the following minimum qualifications:
Position Responsibilities:
  • Initiate PCL investigations using various government databases including DISS, NBIS and SWFT.
  • Review SF-86 submissions for essential KMP and ensure fingerprints are received to initiate investigative process.
  • Verify PCLs of essential KMP using government databases or request reciprocity by affiliated Cognizant Security Offices.
  • Evaluate reports of investigations, personnel files, and other records.
  • Track and monitor statuses and communicate changes with government customer, contract support staff, KMPs, and other process stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Position Requirements:
  • Demonstrate muti-tasking and time management ability
  • Demonstrate ability to professionally interact and communicate via email, phone, (etc.) with government stakeholders and contract staff
  • Experience with detailed work and form revision
  • Basic understanding of DISS, NBIS and SWFT government databases
  • Basic understanding of National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and/or DoD Personnel Security Background investigative procedures
Position Pay Range
$73,000 - $83,000 USD
