• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments on clients, carefully evaluating their psychiatric history alongside any co-occurring medical conditions.
• Develop and implement tailored integrated treatment plans that effectively address both mental and physical health needs, regularly reviewing and adjusting as necessary based on patient progress.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to promote recovery and adaptability in patients.
• Collaborate with medical providers to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment, sharing insights and coordinating care for optimal outcomes.
• Provide support and crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and developing safety plans as required.
• Educate clients on the intricate relationship between mental health and physical wellness, empowering them to take an active role in managing their health.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage actively in team discussions, case reviews, and interdisciplinary planning to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Stay informed on current research and best practices related to integrated mental health care.

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals managing complex mental health challenges and co-occurring medical conditions. As a therapist with Klarity Health, you will work closely with clients facing various difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress, ensuring that their psychological needs are sensitively and effectively addressed within the context of their overall health.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT within the state of New York.
• Strong foundation in addressing the needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with patients and build trust.
• A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines while managing patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and telehealth technology.
• A collaborative mindset, capable of thriving in an interdisciplinary team environment.

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in a telehealth capacity.
• Experience in integrated care settings highlighting collaboration with medical professionals.
• Training in specific evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Motivational Interviewing.
