What does a kitting do?

A typical day for a kitting team member involves reviewing work orders, gathering inventory parts or components from storage, and assembling them into kits that are ready for shipment or production. You’ll frequently use inventory management systems and barcode scanners to track and confirm items. While the work can be repetitive, there’s a strong sense of accomplishment in helping keep supply chains running smoothly, and experienced workers often have opportunities for advancement into lead or supervisory roles within the warehouse.

To excel in a Kitting role, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a basic understanding of inventory management are essential.
