Job description

Position Summary... What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete work assignments by utilizing company policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; and recommending improvements. Adapt to change, overcome difficulties, and learn from feedback.
  • Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, lift pacers); identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight; using warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners; and maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy in daily business practices.
  • Keep work areas organized and maintain freight flow by stacking and moving empty pallets using manual or powered equipment.
  • Monitor freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $28.80* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
