Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in our warehouse operations, performing duties akin to those of a Warehouse Clerk. This role requires flexibility and adaptability as each order may vary based on customer needs. You will engage in tasks such as picking and pulling kits, inventory control through cycle counting, and logging items using software. Additionally, you will operate tools like pallet jacks and hand-carts to move materials and build crates for international shipments. Our team thrives in a collaborative environment built on mutual respect, aiming to achieve goals efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Execute general warehouse tasks including picking, stacking, racking, stocking, boxing, moving, organizing, cleaning, and sweeping.
  • Perform dock work and manage shipping and receiving processes.
  • Maintain inventory control through cycle counting, stocking, tracking, replenishment, and labeling.
  • Follow work orders and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Conduct crating and packing activities such as measuring, cutting, wrapping, insulating, foam wrapping, bubble wrapping, and plastic wrapping.
  • Pack parts of kits securely for truck-proof shipping.

Essential Skills

  • Material handling proficiency.
  • Inventory management expertise.
  • Competence in computer operation and data entry.
  • Experience with cycle counting.
  • Ability to perform computer transactions using software systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in warehousing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
