Job Summary

AVStar Fuel Systems is the world leader in the design, manufacture, and overhaul of carburetors and fuel injection systems for general aviation air cooled piston engines. AVStar supports over 160,000 engines worldwide with one million flight hours per month being flown. The shipping / receiving clerk accurately documents all incoming product (from our designated facility in NY and all other vendors) and prepare shipments to our varied customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Must be detailed oriented, mechanically adept and have good computer skills

- Ensures incoming product is accurately received and documented.

- Performs clerical support using company ERP system.

- Maintains detailed, organized, and accurate documentation. Keep work area clean and orderly.

Qualifications and Skills

Attention to detail is absolutely required.

Individual must be solution driven, have a strong work ethic, work well on his/her own, be reliable and punctual.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team following procedural processes.

Ability to read, understand and speak English is required.
