Description: The objective of this position is to exceed the customer's expectation of service by assuring the safe transportation and delivery of food to customer locations, following company policies and procedures. Assuring shipment of temperature controlled and undamaged product, proper count of goods at customer locations, assuring inventory levels are FIFO in the customer locations.
Schedule: 40 hours a week. 2nd shift, two days off a week Hours range from 9 PM - 5:30 AM (schedule may be subject to change due to business needs). This position pays $16 per hour
Required skills and abilities:
  • 1-3 years in related position, experience in sanitation required
  • Required to complete SQF paperwork for assigned duties
  • Work independently.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English to effectively communicate, follow written instructions, complete documentation, and ensure safety and accuracy in daily operations

Physical requirements:
  • The ability to lift 20-50 pounds regularly
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
  • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
  • The ability to work for short period of time in cooler and freezer
  • Lifting, carrying, walking, standing kneeling, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling for long periods

Minimum Porter Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 1-year related experience
  • Able to follow detailed cleaning procedures and implement or improve on existing ones
  • Work with cleaning chemicals daily
  • Ability to operate sanitation equipment (mop, broom and or vacuum)
  • Ordering various cleaning supplies

Porter Demands:
  • Schedule 3rd shift

  • Ability to work in the cold/ freezer

Accountabilities:
