ROLE SUMMARY:
A porter plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and restaurant. The ideal candidate possesses a guest first attitude, strong commitment to service, and excellent communication skills. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction, be solutions oriented and encourages a hospitality driven environment. Open availability is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area in the restaurant
- Receive, unpack, and store all restaurant deliveries
- Support inventory management by organizing the food storage accurately
- Restock all kitchen and restaurant equipment in venue
- Assist the venue team as needed
- Other maintenance tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Must be available at weekends and nights
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs
- Must be able to work in hot/cold, and/or wet areas
